Our Breakfasts are a delicious way to start your day. Fresh brewed coffee, or tea, awaits at 8 am (earlier, upon request). At 9 am, we serve an abundant breakfast, family-style, around the large dining room table. A typical meal consists of seasonal, fresh fruit, homemade granola and yogurt; freshly-baked homemade pastries (Rhubarb Muffins have been a popular favourite with guests, although the Banana Bread with Chocolate has garnered its own fans as well); and then different hot entrée each morning. Some recent offerings have included: Quiche Lorraine, Crème Brûlée French Toast, Red Bliss Potato Hash with Smoked Salmon, or Asparagus & Mushroom Frittata with Canadian Cheddar.
We are delighted to accommodate special dietary requests! We have hosted many dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan guests, as well as others with dietary restrictions, or just personal likes and dislikes. We just ask that you let us know if you have any special requests prior to your arrival so we can plan the menu accordingly.
We source many of our ingredients locally, including farmers’ market eggs, local Perth County pork (bacon, sausage, ham, etc.). And of course the fruit is always fresh, and local when in season.
